The national recycling tour continues

I left you in Berwick-upon-Tweed... not the beginning of a song, but the last update on my blog!

 

After travelling up the east coast of England, I arrived in Scotland last Wednesday visiting Homebase Dundee and taking this snap with Alana Anderson, Craig Sanderson and Ashley Davidson.

I then jumped back on the road across Scotland to Glasgow, teaming up with the staff there.  I love this picture of Eddie Svomho - we had a great time and, like everywhere that I've been, the staff were wonderful and really friendly!

It was an early start the next morning as I made my way to beautiful Kendal in the Lake District. Service manager Ryan Wickett and I are pictured here.

Friday was another busy day on the tour - taking in the two big cities of Liverpool and Manchester.  At the Homebase store in Aintree, Sheila Cloonan gave me a guided tour and helped my out with a quick bit of shopping, and in Manchester I was at the Altrincham store Tanya Barron and her daughter Izabella Stringer (aged 2) joined me and Jane Taylor.

Next, I'm moving onto the Midlands, the South and East of England ... but that's a story for another day!
