Lamp Recycling for Local Councils & Retailers
Recolight offers a complete CFL recycling service for Local Councils and Retailers. We will lease a Bulbstore Maxi unit, and provide free of charge collection and recycling. This service has been designed to make it easier for your community and customers to recycle. We also have free solutions for your own business waste bulbs.
Low-energy light bulbs need to be recycled as they are classed as hazardous waste. They contain minute quantities of mercury, normally no more than 4mg per bulb and are not dangerous to human health, but in larger quantities could pose a risk to the environment, and therefore must be recycled sustainably.

Working with retailers and local councils, Recolight now have over 700 collections points across the UK for consumer CFLs.
The Bulbstore Maxi is for outdoor use, suitable for Local Council bring sites or retail stores with a recycling bank.
The Bulbstore Mini has been designed for indoor use at retail stores.

Our collection point map shows all our open recycling points across the UK. If requested we can add your collection point to the map, and we welcome you adding the URL to your website.
Recycling your own waste lamps
The Bulbstore containers are designed for you to help your customers and community recycle their low energy light bulbs.
